Popper Productions

Popper Productions is an independent Australian production company producing Australian feature films and documentaries at low to mid level budgets.

Tamara Popper has been an independent producer for 12 years and other credits include Unit #52, written and directed by Tony Krawitz, selected for Directors Fortnight, Cannes International Film Festival 2003, and, a 52 minute documentary Sydney At War – The Untold Story, written and directed by Claude Gonzalez for SBS Television.
A Natural Talent, written and directed by Louise Fox, was nominated for two Australian Film Institute (AFI) Awards in 2006 and won the prestigious Jameson Award for Best Australian Short Film at Flickerfest 2006 and has screened at many international film festivals.

She also produced Louise Fox's AFC funded short film Help me and a number of short films, documentaries, video installations and segments for ABC-TV's Recovery and Triple J Radio.

The company has several feature films in development and is currently financing the feature film Designated Driver which will go into production early in 2013.  Bowie Golden Years, a feature length documentary, is also at financing stage and will be a co-production with London based production company Missing In Action Films.
Tamara is also a producer mentor/consultant at the International Film School of Sydney.
